this may have been covered previously...but what are people's thoughts on these puppies?

http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/C-SRP ... Detail.cfm

i know minisport in SA carry them and was considering getting a set with some hi-los to replace the rubber cones in the suspension towers of the dry subframe i am lining up...

heard mixed reviews of these spring setups...some people say they're the ultimate...some say they are total crap...just wondering what you guys reckon...prolly wont get much change outta $600 for a set of 4 so i wouldnt wanna just go buy em without knowing a bit more about em...

been thinking about these with a set of hi-los and dampers in the usual place on the front...thoughts and advice appreciated...

I have read that they are not suited to cars for the road because the ride is harsh and the amount of travel is limited, even those ones say for race use :D

there are street and race versions...looks like the only difference between the 2 is the thickness of the springs used...so even the street ones are meant to be rough as hell hey?

Bloke from Northern Mini parts claims he has a set in his car. I went for a ride in it and comfort wise it leaves my rover for dead.

oh really? thats interesting...getting so many mixed (and often contradictory) view points here hard to sort the facts out...personally i am not overly concerned with comfort...handling is more what i am interested in...
