"Not everyone is a tight ass mini owner.
Which is why these sell.
Go out and buy your $100 autotechnica special, and have to replace it in a few years cos the build quality is SH!THOUSE.
Or buy this and have it last you ages. "

Hey willy, I had a MOMO F1 on mine (flat bottomed one, two tone leather that kind of thing)
I took it off, bloody car was SLOWER around wakefield with that due to the number of corrections I had to do ....

In my "gun rack" of steering wheels are a 1275GT wheel (on there at the moment) and a 12" Flat- BATHURST wheel.....

yea, Tried a moto-lita, seems too "Fat" to me ... just didnt like it.....

I have trouble justifying $600 on a steering wheel..... i just cant....

J

Yeah but it's off now, until I get it re-covered...
Running a SAAS Chinese fake wood one now, it's not bad either...

Mountney are pretty good - not exceptional but they do last years without any probs and look the part and for 25 squid for a decent leather one who cares if it lasts 5 years and not 20.

That's cause you haven't tried one  Seriously I cleaned mine last night with leather wipes and boy it feels so good  I dunno if it is any better than other wheels, but I do like it now. I had a smaller "Formuling" clubby wheel and it sucked... too small, hard to park, too sensitive...

That's cool, to each their own. I have several mini ones here and they are vynl feel good too. It's really about the size in your hand and the dricing characteristics. It makes a difference to driving experience i think...

I like my wooden wheel, only thing bad about it is when it gets hot and your hands are sweating, makes it slightly hard to grip the wheel... I guess you don't get that with the leather wheels.

I havent even got a steering wheel at the moment!

I like a good quality item and for $600 I am sure it is, unfortunately that money could be spent in soooo many different ways on my mini. I really need a bigger bank account!
