Hey, im just doing the door mechanism in my leyland mini and am completely stumped, I got all the inside ones working, then i tried to open it from the outside and nothing happened, so i had to pull it all apart and start again. I have all the bits, just need someone to tell me how to put them together...

Thanks :)

When we first bought home my daughter's Mini, every nut, bolt, window, light was off and all in seperate bags ( thank goodness for small mercies).

When we put the doors together, it took ages for the first one and had to take it apart several times over - yer, great fun job that one lol.

Have fun

If you think a Clubby lock mechanism is hard, try the Deluxe/Mini K/Cooper S ones.... particularly the outside handle.

The Clubby ones always break so the outside handle doesnt happen and that pisses me off!
It always looks like I'm breaking into my car every time I hyave to open it from the inside

is it normal for a clubby to not be able to lock the door fromt the inside then shut it or do u have to use the key on the outside, i mean once the door is shut i can lock it... but whe its open to get out i cant lock it it doesnt move all the way across
