Drive it around the block for a bit - that will screw him up!

Then fly spray does the same thing too. I have 2 tins in the garage - the joys of backing onto the bush!

Hooroo

Personally , I've found they seem to have something of an allergic reaction to the oxy/acetylene , quickest way of clearing them out of non flamable places , quick pass from a safe distance and the heat does the trick ......

The ones near my place are so tough they blow bubbles at me when I soak them in fly spray.

When Kev and I were boys, we had to fight them off the underside of the seat in the outdoor dunny... :?

And that was before they had proper dunny paper as well...

Generally, a red back bite isn't lethal.

If I remember my first aid correctly (A bit of a push) you apply constriction bandages to all snake and spider bites EXCEPT the redback spider because; it is generally not lethal and because the bite causes so much pain that the person will be in lots of pain because you have applied a constriction bandage.

Was a while ago I learnt this so things may have changed and my memory is bit prone to error.

The clubby I bought had been off the road for several years.
I keep finding those buggers everywhere.

My neighbour's little girl got bitten on the face while fast asleep,
she was hallucinating and going crazy, nasty stuff.

So just check your pillow before you bed down tonight. :D
