Replaced slave cylinder today (was a bit leaky around the rubber). All bled up and good to go, put my foot down on the clutch pedal and reversed out the driveway, clutch again, into first then the master decides to empty its guts out into my footwell via the pedal   .

My lesson learned: replace ALL parts of a clutch or brake system at once, or there might be tears / tools thrown / doors slammed / head banging against wall.

Don't forget to replace the hose. It is just as old as all the other bits that just failed.
Hmmm, How old are all the brake rubbers? 8)
