I replaced my old and tired SU pump for a ' new ' SU pump with the electronic contact in the back. I also smashed some bastard child killing Redbacks living down the back while I was at it.

It worked fine for a while, but now it has gone to scheisse. It will pump once on application of 12 volts, and sometimes run a treat for a while. But mostly it will pump just once and then stop. This is on the car or on the bench.

I've opened up the back and in the absence of the old reed contacts that used to be in there, I'm all out of ideas. Anyone got any tips? Is there anything that might need to be adjusted?

What he said...^^^
I'd fit a Facet electronic pump, they go pretty much forever, probably cheaper too.
Mine are model 40104N.
Mount it on a Mini centre exhaust mount, to quieten it.

Goddammit Drat!. :x

Now where's that receipt... :?:

Anyone know what caused it? I might have a fiddle if I can't find the receipt.
