ok lets have a recap

, ,i dont care about mazdas or bikes, i want a mini for my mum, i dont care is she cant go quite as fast, because then in theory she might not crash and die, the real reason that i want her to get a mini is so that when she goes away overseas, (which happens about 4-6 times a year) i can drive it around. and i like mini's, nothing and i mean nothing can convert me from that love of, in my opinion the best car of all time, now if the only way i can do that is for her to get a new one, and i agrre they are no where near as good as the classic ones, that is what i will do... such is my love for the mini.
now that i have had my rant, can we please answer the question.

2 contact clubMINI and find out when and where their next run will be held
3 take your mum out for a drive and just stumble across the clubMINI run
4 do a search on MINI2.com for similar threads
5 get her to take a test drive
6 post in the Australian forum on MINI2.com and ask for help from a friendly bunch of enthusiasts
7 get her to take a test drive

yeah yeah...i was simply playing the devil's advocate and suggesting that there are other cars out there that perhaps his mother would enjoy more than the new "mini"...if she wants to get the new "mini" then sure! let her get it...but if she doesnt and its just him who wants her to get it then perhaps that's not a good enuff reason...

as suggested earlier...just go and take her for a test drive...i am sure you can manage to force her hand by suggesting the right cars for her to drive such that the "mini" comes out on top...

If you wanted to keep in the terms of Mini, you would have bought one.
What you bought is the new-day equivalent, which really doesnt equate to the original... one bit.
