well this has gone on long enough.

i own both. both have there attractive qualities, hence why we all bought minis in the first place. i get equal comments and looks and thumbs up in each car.
get alot of commonwhore and falcon (tough) guys thinking they own the road. its great to see there faces when the car their girlfriend called "cute" blows them off the road.

as its been said, its all personal preference. i like both. if someone has a fugly GF you dont tell him cause it will hurt his feelings, same rule applies here. keep the rude comments to yaself as it usually means you jealous of what you dont have.

2 cents given.

It's all light hearted banter, to get a laugh. Just about everyone on here has had both, I personally wouldn't mind that white GT. 8)

i haven't owned both, i want to own both.

as some said before
clubby= tough
roundy= cute

tough for the the speeding along country roads and along the highway next to the semi-tailers and cute for around town.

and a bini cause i belive it is less likely to be picked up and rolled.

i like both. i agree with the tough cute thing. i own a clubby.

BUT

you cant make the clubby a better car beacuse of all the added features, safelty or otherwise, because its a newer car and therefore would ahve to comply with the regulations of the time. its like comparing (i knw im exaggerating :P ) a model T with an XR8. from a safelt, rust and running point of iew, the XR will obviously be the far superior car but from a style/personal perspective point of view? well thats a whole new ball game

Not that it has never been asked - it is just never been able to be answered without all the roundie owners slinging all sorts of crap on the clubbie owners.

As you can see for yourself by the responces here.

Sling enough insults and eventually you have a fight on your hands

I think it's all tongue in cheek. :wink:

and that make any insult you care to throw at clubbies and their owners acceptable of course

is the clubby a better car than the roundy?
yes, in the same way the rover is a better car than the leyland and morris

It all boils down to personal opinon and what each indiviual likes. There is no compeition.
Each car has its good and bads...no use bagging Clubby owners or roundie owners.

I'm a Clubby owner and proud of it, but Junior is also a good car to drive.
