I got one of those yellow silicon ones for the rear hatch on the Galant. It sticks to the glass so much that if the window isn't drenched, it drags really slowly. New, imporved and worse than what was there before.

hey guys i'm having a little bit of trouble with my 850 blades. I noticed a bit of scratching with the single blade ones so I went down to supercheap and picked up the smallest (6mm backing) blades i could find. They are double bladed and I'm not sure how to fit them.

Will double blade ones even fit or do I need to go back and buy the single blade ones. I bought the doubles because I thougth it'd make it impossible for the wiper arm to scrape the windscreen (the little clamp bits on the arm that hold the metal strip the old blades clip into are rubbing).

Also when fitting the new blades is the metal strip redundant or does the new blade simply get clamped into the arm clamps??
