Just wondering what other people have done with the interiors of their clubby - im after ideas

Hi
I have a clubby van 77, I am stripping it getting ready to repaint
then I will reline the whole inside and recover the seats to match
I am not sure about the dash as yet, going to paint it kermit green

You know what I reckon?
Painting that glove box door black and puting the hinge on the bottom will make a huge difference. :D

heres mine just did the dash the other day keeping it simple prob make a center console later on trimming the doors card in the next couple of weeks

I am a big fan of not covering the dash with a sheet of MDF, the open shelf is part of what makes Minis Minis, if you know what I mean. But I agree that the glove box whould be painted, but what about using chromed boot hinges for it? And the devil is in the details - make sure the whole thing looks tidy, no rough edges, no wires hanging down. And with colour or texture, remember: Have one main colour or texture and use one or two others as highlights.
