mate of mine has this motor and doesnt know what its from or capacity the engine reads

1015 / 5559 CRT

the carby is a 1 1/4 and the rocker cover has a large bulge where one of the pipes come out

any help would be great

thats a small carby for an 1100 my 998 had a 1 1/2 guess it would make a good upgrade

Completely standard. When the 998 was introduced again in the mid 70's, it had a 1.5" carb. All 1100's and 998's before then had the 1.25" carb (with exception of the auto's).
