Well, as this ISN'T the 100th time i've seen someone post this, i have a real question...

:?: How would you go about registering a car like that? Bigger engine? Turbo? Is it even possible to register a car with mods like that for the road or just racing?

I mean, i'm not looking at buyin it and am still a P Plater till May so couldn't drive it anyway, i was just wondering what the laws about these things are...? :D

NB: If someone has asked and answered this somewhere else, just give me the ref. :D

many threads in the conversions forum are dedicated to this...basically you need to get it engineered...that is; approved by an engineer for road use...you can get pretty much anything approved i believe...just a matter of getting it right :)

General process is to consult with an enginner before during and after modifications they will then give it a engineer's certificate (if it passes) and you can take this to the Motor Registry and rego it (brief version...) Check out the Coversions section and it will give you some idea of what the process involves :wink:
