Hi , I'm happy to report that today I joined the ranks and became a Mini owner!!

Have already been out and about , and looking forward to the reunion with a brand I first owned 29 years ago !! Note: I didn't say 30 years.

I am now looking forward to having fun, and no doubt spending money on the car, as well as hopefully meeting and learning from others.

1340, wade cam, cooper S gear, half cage and racing seats and harnesses.
Brilliantly put together by a master craftsmen (not me!!).
No I have to keep the standard.

Goes hard, and lots of fun......

Vintage/old actually means "something to be treasured", I reckon.
Age is relative, young man.
Let's just say I was driving minis when they could be bought brand new.
Clubmans that is ... the round nose was TOO OLD for me then!!

YUP, mine even had a centre roof mounted CB antenna ... good ground plane, ya know.

I have not been called that in a looooong time Pocket_rocket and I was around when the first roundnose Mini's appeared, in fact my 2nd car at the ripe old age of 19 was a roundnose 998 Deluxe... :?
