Yes I did, but last time I drove to SA (OK so it was 1969) you could tell when you crossed the border, theirs were even worse!
I have heard Vic roads are nice, but I doubt my Minis will ever get that far south...

The Victorian roads are only nicer because they charge you to drive anywhere, and because the cops are better at revenue raising...i mean...controlling speed limits than they are anywhere else.

dunno about that choedesu
i have more hassles with cops in nsw that there mexican counterparts although i have more hassles with vicroads inspectors than nsw rta inspectors
nether been pulled up in sa or qld .....
another thing is that nsw is one of the highest taxed states in australia but alot of nsw tax money go's to the other states and territories thats why we have the worst roads cos out taxes fix everyone else's roads especially since the gst come in the state govt has to hand over more tax to the fed govt now
.... it's sux's no wonder nsw is going to crap

see, unlike sydney, our roads arent made of concrete. They were designed to last longer than most.

yeah and also the fact that most of our main roads were built in the 60's and not expecting the groth that sydney would encounter

Yeah SA roads suck.
I reckon people should do more burnouts on them to smooth them out, or get the councils working to replace the shocking **** things.

 /whinge.

i dont like SA roads. They had stupid yellow raised bumps to stop people driving on the traffic islands between the lanes. But sometimes you need to drive on them.

O and why is there no "welcome to SA" signs at the border?
