i dont like SA roads. They had stupid yellow raised bumps to stop people driving on the traffic islands between the lanes. But sometimes you need to drive on them.

O and why is there no "welcome to SA" signs at the border?

Bollocks you NEED to drive on them.
This is why our streets are the width they are... so you can drive on the other side of the road with ease

As for the welcome signs... SA scum have probably stolen them, I'm sure we wouldn't be so rude as not to welcome our interstate visitors.

edit: what the yellow bumps are, are to detract cars from driving on the areas that they are placed on.
Used on blind corners, large;wide roads, etc.

We have paint. People stay off them mostly, but it is legal to drive on tehm (according to my driving instructor) if you need to get into the right hand turning lane and cant for some reason (long line of cars)
Used on blind corners, large;wide roads, etc.

3D humps are much, much more exciting than boring painted ovals.
Don't you think?

The little yellow bumps are there to give the toy AWD owners a thrill.
Gomersal Road (to Tanunda) is a pretty nice road, but the Sturt Hwy sucks. As do most, really.
