Again only the minis I have now although I have had minis since the sixties.

77 kermit coloured Clubbie - bought that as an insurance writeoff from a wreckers in Bossley Park. Was an 1100 but now 1310 with discs. Panel damage profesionally repaired.

67 1100S - was advertised on Ebay with a blown head gasket. Offered $700 for it and offer was accepted. Brought it home, did a head job on it and drove it as a daily for 18 months. Took it to Hay for the mini nationals and itdidn't miss a beat. Has since had a gearbox change as it locked into first gear.

65 Panel Van - under restoration (has been for some time) and will get finished.

Also been given five other minis as I live in a rural area and people kept coming and saying "if you want one for spares etc" All have been basket cases and gone but I have the bits.

I'm 22 and I've loved mini since I knew what a car was, so from like the age of 5 I've been waiting to buy one. So one day almost 3.5 years ago I bought the trading post and found a ad for a Silver Clubman + plus separate original engine parts. I rang the guy expecting that it was going to be sold aready but not he was waiting obviously for my call, or so I like to believe. Anyways I offered him $4500 for it as he wanted $5000. He declined so I said look I really want that mini so eventually agreed omn a proce of $4800 including all the engine parts he had and 4 hub-capped wheels. I went back two days later with a bank cheque and he said some guy out west offed him $5000 and I was like we had a deal mate and heres the cheque he reluctly accepted . He told be the perosn who offered him more was 15 , so I said he'll wrap it round a pole not doubt within a yr and besides I'll ga4rage it look after it and restore it eventually , which i think he appricated. So now Im the lucky owner of a original 1275 LS with original plates .

Since then ive modfied the engine but the bodfy is in great nick.

hope to own at least 1 more mini

Well I was surfing Mini-porn on the web and came across my car on ebay. After 2 trips, to Sidney, one to view and one to buy I owned a Rover Mini.
