Just a question where should I go to buy primers and paint? Do you just approach a local body repair shop or what? I'm just about finished stripping my mini to bare metal and I need to get onto it with some etch primer quick smart. So if you could let me know that would be fantastic

Most parts places like AutoPro, Auto One etc are selling Motospray range of paints. Motospray's rep has been a busy boy, obviously...
Some people say it's crap, but we threw 4L of their pre-mixed Monza Red acrylic lacquer at the Clubby, it came up pretty well.

just look under the yellowpages for automotive paint supplies. People say Dupont paint is the best around at the moment. I'm sure some paints go on ok but i'd sya the difference is how long it lasts and how resistant it is to the weather in the long term. Depends how much u want to spend i guess. dupont primer is about $65/ 4L, metallic paint about $150-250/4L. Thinners about $90/25L. 4 litres of thinners won't be anywhere near enough to paint a car when u include it for cleaning everything up as u go.

If you are painting with acrylic lacquer you want acrylic thinners, not the GP stuff- that is really only good for primers and cleaning up.
If you use it with acrylic, gloss off the gun will be crap.
