Hello people,
Lynda and I got married last weekend and we really wanted to show off the cake my parents made us. We chucked in the little minis, but they did the rest. The top mini is supposed to be similar to mine, it was the closest paint i could get.
The old man got stuck into the train and cake base. I am the train freak and we love the minis, so both interests were put on our cake.
When my old man gets an idea thats it, no turning back. Looks magnificent, it was a shame we had to cut it.
Cheers,
Damo

Congratulations on your marriage. Fortunately you found someone who is sympathetic to your illness (Mini-itis).

Well... actually i became a miniac from her. However, i did get a bonus when she has no problem with all the train gear i have around the joint.

Talking about train gear - neighbour bloke up behind us is a bit of a train buff He has train gear lying around everywhere and has created a bed and breakfast out of a couple of old steam train carriages.

Was a story about him in yesterday's Sydney Daily Telegraph.

Gee - started to say congrats and nice cake but prattled on about train man up behind us.

Guess its what comes of over thirty five years of marriages. All the best for the future.

While trains are being mentioned, here's a pretty good place for a drive with the kids (young and old) in Sydney.

The Train Shed:

A winery to taste test too ....

Awww, if Pete and I ever get married, I don't think there's going to be enough parking space on the cake for all of our vehicular interests.

Congrats on the wedding, hope it went off without a hitch :D
