I don't know if I will go this year as it is such a long way! 8)

It is at the Goulburn Showgrounds. When coming from Sydney take the first Goulburn exit and then turn left at the first set of traffic lights, follow the signs for Wakefield Park.

It is $3 to get in.

Just a reminder that the swap meet is tomorrow.

This is one of the biggest and best swap meets around.

Should organise a little AUSMINI rendezvous...0424 001184 is my number - will be trying to get to the showgrounds right on 6.30am. taking the back road through Bungendore, Tarago and past WP.

Hope to see some of you there.

It was probably the the best organised swap meet that Goulburn has had but there seemed to be a lot missing which was a pity.
There was hardly any BMC stuff. Mind you there was heaps of Weber carbs and a real nice looking moke.
It was the first time I have come home from a swap meet with nothing.

Concur there...

I was sooooo close to seriously getting the moke but common sense prevailed(and a pending divorce if I came home with another stray!!).

Agree with the lack of BMC stuff - although I found a new lightened double row timing kit and engine plate for $60 bucks, a LH rear tail light assembly for $40(NOS), a TO3 turbo from a nissan I think($250)and will fit nicely on the metro manifold I already have(just gotta make it fit!!).

There was a fella trying to sell me a Dellorto (very used!!) for $800 without a manifold and picked up a pair of HIFF carbys(I think they are 38's((??)). Total bill with all the other crap I bought came to $500 - could have been $5500 if the moke came home too.

Oooooo - and a couple of pumpkins to boot, now the weather is getting fresher...lol. They were right near the entrance!! How could I resist...

Mark the 01 April 2007 for the next one...see you all there
