Cause it's a front bumper as well :? Just move the overriders and it will look right.

There is no difference between front and rear bumpers 8)

I thought bumpers for front and rear only differed on clubbies.

Yup, The rear clubby bumper is very similar to the roundy front and rear bumpers and it will fit but the clubby one isn't as rounded (has a small step like bit in it)

I think there is a nut welded on the inside of the bumper.

I haven't looked real hard as my deluxe had no overiders but the overriders I got from finny had a plate that would fit on the inside of the bumper and I presume you tighten it up to clamp the overider in place.

theres no nut or anything on the inside, the overriders just have a clamp built into them which tightens up against the inside of the bumper and holds it in place -stick your head under the bumper and you'll see it - trouble is Cush, they'll have made yucky marks on the bumper where they've been sitting and it'll look bad if you move them

I always thought you had them there on purpose, it looks tougher than having them in the normal position closter together

leave them where they are.... unique like you ;)

Those overriders are worthless- later MiniMatics and Mini Ks didn't have them anyway!
Less wind resistance... 8)

Maybe PO put them there thinking it will protect the indicator lenses from carpark incidents etc.
