i was drivng along at around 90 and then clunk clunk bang :shock:

oil n smoke everywhere :oops:

not sure but i think the bottom end might be in the gearbox

luck but still not good it wasnt my daily road car
but the one i brought for my brother
the engine is original 1100 it was 30 something years old still not good :cry:

good thing i got some spare engines so my brother wants a 998 in it next so lucky i got a few

You really have to be carefull when rooting blocks..... :wink:
But my little 998 with a big crank is lovely... when it works.
So worth a thought....

yer for now just want to get it striped and then running again

its kind off ok because the gearbox was stuffed so now i have a reason to replace it :roll:

Ouch, the amount of force it takes to rip a hole like that in a cast iron block can only mean that the bottom end has let go somehow and thrown a rod, a bolt, or both into the side of the block. :shock: it's toast...
