Rumours circulating in paddock suggest that the lead driver of one of the teams in the Ausmini BTCC, commonly called Cush, has been exhibiting personality traits not representative of quality of driver the compettion seeks to attact. Gloating is a black flagable offence as the other drivers on the curcuit frequently reinspect this mornings egg and bacon breaksfast and reasonably dark cup of coffee whilst approaching the final, and somewhat challenging corner.

Other drivers would request that Cush refrains from this unsporting behaviour, at least until somebody else wins.

Cush you only got pole by 0.222 of a second, but your team mate you blocked me on my fast lap prevented me from knoocking you off pole*

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAY bored at work

Think I'll go over to the workshop and watch the guys work
that always creeps them out, and has the added benefit of actually making them work

Team Peugeot refutes these blatant lies, and will do its talking on the racetrack.

Official Island Hopper Racing Press Release
Image

Island Hopper Driver (and team leader) Michael Cushway had this to say regarding recent public stabs in the media at his performance in qualifying.

"2 tenths is a big gap in BTCC, but +0.082 (as the warmup showed) is a respectable effort considering i was practicing on heavily worn tyres."

"Overall i couldn't be happier with my position, and i'm feeling very confident about tomorrow's race and i am looking forward to it."

"I'm am, however, a little dissapointed about Driver Swan(In the Pugeot) causing my team mate trouble in his qualifying with all the dirt and debris left on the track after his "off-track caper""

Cushway was also reported to have said "ps. I love Oprah"
