It's the sparkly bit that makes the Honda dizzy work. Is it CDI box or what??

OTOH a Pulsar (similar) dizzy doesn't have an external module (only the coil).

Well, I hope I grab it from my free Honda before I ditch the rest of the car. I will just pull everything that looks like it will be usefull for that conversion.

It' a little rectangular block about 3x4x1 cm mounted on the firewall near the coil with a couple of wires coming out of it.

Not that talented but in a previous link I described it in detail, and emailed a photo to ausmini4u which I think he posted, if he didn't I can email it to you.

I've got the same conversion on mine, so you could also look at mine someday if not sure.

Yea Kevin I might take a look at yours to get the idea. I pick up the honda next weekend, and will be doing all the machine work to the discs and dizzy straight away. Are you going to Gannons on Sunday?

Hey Doc - you're Doc!!

I'm Kevin! LOL

I think he means me?

But the answer is still no, I'm not going to Gannon's Park. I have a Renault Club drive on that I'm doing in one of my other cars.

I live at Plumpton, so I'm not a million miles away. You could pop over one night or another weekend that suits, no problem. Contact me if you like (9625 6130H or 0408 259 947).

Just leave the vacuum hose off. These dizzys are very well engineered- the advance plate won't move about like a Lucas... 8)

D4R83 - Auto.

Although I have seen a few manual Pulsars with this Dizzy too. It seems not all manuals had the D4R85.... 8)
