Engine sizes are determined by the number of posts a user has. The more you post the higher it gets..

The more posts the higher the engine capasity...

As far as I know, these are rankings, in the style of engine sizes. You start out with the nOOb think (I am still on that) and once you post a certain amount of stuff, the administrators, give you a rank. This is sort of explained in FAQ's. However, what is not explained is what are the numbers of posts one has to achieve to get each rank. Maybe it'ssomething the administrators prefer to keep a handle on, so they just give them out to well behaved posters!

Though sometimes these seem to be an estimate.
