just a quick update that i thought mini owners might want to know

my new radiator is from a AE92 collorlla/ LE nova and its huge, dont think the motor will be overheating any time soon :D :D and it should work for all clubby's with original "A" series motors see pic

Also fitted the inlet manifold, i had to remake the middle runner because it would have hit into the bulkhead

today i added the radiator fan and air box so its getting pretty full in there, hope to start the wiring next week ,my mate who's an auto elec got me the diagrams its good enough to do the job after we when through it today :D

hey joe i can take some close ups of different areas

the air box is from a VR commodore  because its nice and square and is easy to obtain a filter anywhere i go, it sits where the old mini radiator was on top of the new gearbox

the manifold is comming of this week to get painted so i will take some pics of that 8)
I should have done some before and after shots ,my mate who welded it did a great job and you cant really tell its been changed

I would have expected an alloy or plastic manifold being such a newer motor

i had the sirion shaft in and all the suspension on and put a rule across the back of the cv(hub assembly then lined up the shaft beside the disc and marked the shaft ,i then measured inside the cv to get the extra lenght that it has inside the cv

make sure when you measure, that the inner cv to the box is not pushed in or pulled out to far it should move back into place either way because its air tight if the shaft is to long it will cause huge vibration or pop out if its to short

G'day!

Any updates on this conversion?
I've been watching this one closely, and I'm excited to see the results of this 'alternative' engine option!

What've you been up to? I'm sure a lot of the other guys would be happy to know about your progress!
