with a bit of help from willy (thanks man), we have come up with this idea for my minis bumpers..

wat does everyone think?? black or the normal chrome bumpers??

black looks nice, and distinctive, would really finish it off if you had a black roof. I reckon you should stick with the black, for the sake of being different.

different is wat i want aswell...
and i dont think chrome looks right with yellow.. imo

the black bumper looks great there wit hthe grille havnot being entierly black, like pics of your mini i have seen. i'm not sure how it would look with a full black grille.

mabey black bumper with that grille and chrome with full black grill. i think we need a photoshop someone.

all black may work but i can't picture it.

i leave my vote undecided for now.

now i have no idea how to use photoshop.. but i can work my way around paint.. here is some little work i did.. not perfect but it kind of gives u an idea of the black grille with it... :oops:

how bout you just have 2 grilles and change dependnign what mood your in, hey you could do the same with the bumpers.

thats not a bad idea actually.. might see wat grilles brickworx has got..
grilles are a bit cheaper then bumpers i think lol

Straight away I know of a mini with this colour combination that works quite well......

The owner is Adrian Knight, from Devon in the UK........ but i cant find a damn picture of his car on Google at all............

I might be putting too much thought into this, but why not get some moulds made up and then have fibreglass bumpers instead? You can paint em black pretty easily...... and make new ones whenever...... hell, you might even be able to sell a few :wink:


Beanie's race car has fibreglass bumpers on it that are painted body colour.... you can't even tell theyre not steel 8)
