With my recent purchase, it came with a grille with two rectangles cut out in the middle. Just wondering if this is factory, or just something someone would have done?

clubby or roundie grill? if its clubman i reckon it'll be factory for the ss fog lights

clubby grille. Dont have camera for pis at the moment. But holes are perfect rectangles.

Leyland mini SS`s & some LS`s came with factory spot lights fitted,,,they were an "Option"

No offence intended here but--> anyone writing a book about minis 30 years ago may not have experienced such worn or stuffed-with components as we are finding these days.

You should put your heart & soul into everything you do.

It should have a little rocker switch next to the headlight switch for the fog/spot lights.

There were no lights in it, just the grille. I think someone has put it in at a later date. I will be going back to standard grille.
