I have been reliably told that hazzard flashers are only there to alert parking police to an illegally stoped/parked vehicle

thanks for reminding me.....ANOTHER thing i should do to the mini before it goes on the road :roll: :)

Anyone done this before and would mind knocking up a simple wiring diagram or how-to? :wink:

hey i haev a 1978 mini s, no hazard lights and if ur car didnt come standard with them u dont need them! kinda like passenger door mirror

yeah i dont car if i dont legally need them but if im conked out in the middle of a main road with cars comming up my ass at 80km it kinda puts my heart to ease...

i only thought of it cos it happened when my battery was on its way out.. conked out at the lights... on an up hill slant... and we had to push start it in reverse with cars comming up my hooter :S with no hazard lights :S not fun....

If your battery is stuffed the hazard lights won't work. 8)

I just put it in reverse! They don't flash, but the next best thing!
