I have a leyland van conversion to ute underway. I would love to find out who else has a mini ute and check out some pics. I'm waiting until i've finished all the welding on mine before i post it, so in the meantime show me the utes.

I'm excited!!!

This was one of Yarnie's, but it has now found a home with Al Munday
(and it still has the primer patch on it)

I reckon spend the extra time/effort to get rid of the sloping tail gate. Looks so much better.

Heaps to do! At the moment I'm trying to uncover and remove all the rust. Still trying to figure out whats going to happen with the roof, but slowly getting there.

The tailgate on that green one looks to be shaven? I like that, I'm not going to straighten it up either. I reckon on the angle it makes the car look like it's going 300kms hr standing still.

Nice one nav. I like the angles, that would look cool.

Looks like a Brumby
and yes, the green one has a "shaved" tailgate on the van angle.
Lots of extra work to make a vertical tailgate.

It is indeed a converted van and the display board beside the ute has a series of photos detailing the construction/conversion.

It was at Hay a couple of years back.and absolutely immaculate

I've seen that cream one before NAV miniworld-february 2003.

I like the timber in the back of the yellow one, I was thinking of timber? might add a bit of weight, weight no good.

Bit excited!!
