Any 1 ever knocked up a simple camber gauge? Or know 1 on the market that is priced sensibly? Pulling the height down a little bit more as the Dunlop D01J's have created a bit more of a gap between the tyre n wheel arch due to lower profile. So gunna dial up a little less neg camber as already running 3 deg. Want to go with about 1.5 neg.

Take it to a wheel alignment shop for proper setting-up.

Flat surface, a way to determine the vertical (builders levels do it all the time) take some measurements....from the vertical....euclid was a smart man

I wont trust my car with some half wit wheel aligner!!!!
Its not hard to do. Ive got a few ideas for a camber gauge but thought some 1 may have knocked 1 up n have a few more ideas.

Drive to SA, there is an old bloke that owns Southern Wheel Alignment... been doing it for forty years.
We trust & use him regularly

Even still, i will not trust any 1 else to work on my car. Simple as that!!!!! I set the suspension up on this car to begin with. Was lucky enough that my housemate (mechanic) had access to there wheel alignment gear at his work. Took it in, i set it up n didnt change a thing was all spot on!!

Two easy methods: either builders level with a 360 pivot wheel thingy built in (mine cost $15 I think). Or a drop line and a ruler, hold drop line so it's hitting bottom of wheel, measure the distance from the drop line to the wheel (at the top), measure the height difference of the two points (along both sides of the triangle, and do a spot of geometry.
When I first got my level I did both methods to check the accuracy of the level but found it to be fine.
How are you doing caster?

Brilliant Thanks. I wasnt sure if you had one or not? Spose i should of just PM'd u! Thats fine, the way this weather is i still wont be driving the car for a bit. Ive put 8mm spacers on the front to bring the track out a tad. I still have good clearance between the tyre n the front of the gaurd.

Just looks like the car is sitting to high now because there is extra clearance between tyre n gaurd. Plus dosnt help that the sidewalls are sort of round where as the Yokos were quite square.
