well that "Rake" or "Trail" or angle that the front forks make is similar to a car in that we (as car owners) call it "Caster" & simply put --> if you pull the lower ball joint even more forward than it allready is, then you will have increased that "Rake/Trail/Caster"
But,,,seeing as the lower control arm is at such an angle forwards also (IE: not being perpendicular to the straight ahead line of the car) Then by pulling the front arms forwards, you will have just decreased the Camber angle at the very same time, so therfor a "FULL" set of adjustable arms is really the go, so that you can wiggle/inch by inch/ all the settings to the right spot. in this case wind out the lower arms as you pull the front ones forwards tll you find the happy spot that you`re after for both camber & caster,,,then you`ll need to re-adjust the "toe/tracking" setting as it will be way out by this time too.
