hi all,
A few months ago i purchased my clubbie :lol: , it is a rolling shell and i have been getting the credit card busy buying the bits to make it go. Just about to get some of the bits on and what do you know, no nuts bolts or any other fittings :oops: . So, can anyone tell me if there is any type of specification documents that will tell me the different types, sizes etc that i will need to buy??? Example, engine mount bolts etc.

you can get bolt bags, particularly off EBAY to get you through.

Not everything, but it will help, at least you can go off to a bolt shop with the right size bolt and say "Give me a bag full of these".

Are the bolt spec's listed in the workshop manual??

I don't think you will have any problem with the tensile rating. Outside of the engine and perhaps some bolts in the suspension (Disc brake calliper and steering arm bolts spring to mind straight up) will you won't need any special hi-tensile bolts to bolt a mini back together. These aren't mild steel bolts, nor are they hi-tensile, and they will do fine. Avoid the plain mild steel bolts,they will simply shear in use.

I've never seen a list of bolts used in a Mini, you may just need to buy them as you go.

Mini spares centre in sydney has a, "pack of the most popular nuts, bolts and washers used to rebuild your mini".

I find there usually expensive but could be worth a try?
