what size head is this? is it just out of a standard 1098?

Used on Mini K, Clubman 1100 and Morris 1100, Sprite Mk2, and some 997 Coopers. :wink:
Sure the 295 is better out of the box, but the 202 is not bad and can be modified heaps. They make great race heads when modified. Ask GR... :wink:

GR has an article in Issue 7 of The Mini Experience (in the shops in about 2 weeks) - doing the headwork for Project Small Block and he is using a 202 head - as Doc said, better for modifying.
