Yeah, the trim annoys me too and I will be making that the next job to fix up. I'd love to be able to get the original 3 piece trim but the flat 1 piece will do, not the raised type currently on it.

I had a fellow roll up beside me at the lights in Brisbane on the way to a Story Bridge Mini Show some years ago and ask me if I was interestred in the three piece set. All he wanted was 50 bucks  . My hand was shaking as I palmed it accross  .

oh happy days.....

Everyone out there is wondering if your M8 is going to remove those flares, fit more appropriate wheels and sliding window doors :)

?? They look like sliding window doors on my desktop.

I used to love the little cross hatched escutcheons(??Spelling??) they used to sometimes have under the sliding window door handles.

Hey you are right!..my bad (tired last night  )

Wonder what paint colours are being thought about...if it was me....I would tend to go for the original because I think these older Coopers are something special (maybe its just a fuddy duddy thing :? )

Flares definitely GONE. Original 3 piece SS trims will go back in their place!!!!
By the way Australian Coopers did not come with two tone seats but were trimmed with upmarket vinyl interior - very plush for their day.
Clubbies MATE?
By the way this car was originally Smoke grey/white but has been resprayed Castrol green then a very rough spray of grey primer - a bit sad!!!
