Best advice i can give is to look around you local car parks for a colour you really like note down which make/model and year it is and then go off to your paint supplier.

The trouble with dark colours (any dark colour) is that it shows up all body imperfections and all dirt and grime. Great for someone who has an immaculate car - totally straight and sheds it when it is not being used.

Lighter colours are much more forgiving

I think black would suit you, but maybe go different,
try white, becasue white means goodness, innocence, purity and virginity...
As opposed to black, white usually has a positive connotation...

?

just to surprise people..

Go the factory colour, they are funky 60's colours and really suit the car even if you don't like the colour they do grow on you

I'd check the price of those ford paints. I had a blue one all ready to go, paint code W5. I got quoted $2500 just for paint!

Damn shame, nice colour.

I got toyota red paint code 3F4 for my car. I saw a cool toyota that day and looked up the codes on the internet because i couldnt get the colour i wanted Morris RD4, but mine looks similiar. But a colour for a van....hmm I'd go with purple. But try to get a factory car colour they are easy to get replaced by any car paint shop!

Well, my favourite colour if I was to build an XY would be Teal Glow... it looks awesome!
In real life it looks MUCH better than pics...

No, I do not think it is... clear coat on top of every teal glow I have seen... but who knows.

Hope this makes your day :) (even though, as I said, on the net colours look rubbish!)

Are you going to be painting the car? If so i would stick with a base colour (non metallic)
