Mini's are not about 0-100 times or quarter mile times if you want something that does 0-100 in 4.5 secscand 12 sec quarters and is as easy to drive your mum could drive it get one of these

Image

The road test carried out on the Monte winning Cooper S in the UK found that they were actually slower than a standard car, main reason was that the weight of the car was more because of all the shite they had in them, if you want fast times get rid of the wieght

ha ha there was one of those cars down at the drags. had a 2.0L 20 valve toyota motor in it. soooo nice.

umm will my mini did 1/4 mile in 16.1 seconds. has potential to go alot faster but wheelspin limits how much I can get the boot in to it.

i might be getting a device to borrow that can do 0-60mph and 1/4 mile times on road. plugs into cigarette lighter. I'll let you know if I get a chance to really test it.

Why would you want to know what it does in a straight line, now lap times where you can use what a mini is good at is what is interesting :D

Well hotbricks (my suggestion at the last meeting :D ) is going to do a dyno day sometime. I reckon we should do a bunch of test on each car to see which car is ultimate. ie, do dyno and quarter mile to see whos is best. Anyone else at Hotbricks interested?

Yeah the idea had been floating around in the club for ages but no one had brought it up recently. Even though its just for bragging rights it'll be fun. Hopefully we could do it for the Mini Experience magazine or something because I saw a dyno day in one of the previous issues.
