Did the same thing happen last year?

... the bickering, that is.

If so, should we do anything about it. I mean I have my opinions and everyone else has theirs. Should we change anything or just leave it?

I think not, as it has probably become 'the inevitable'.

Its clear that other clubs don't see too fondly of Hotbricks.

But i suppose thats inevitable as well  :P

afaik the non mini thing only is a problem in years when the points from said non minis becomes a factor in winning the gbs.

yeah Chris... it just keeps going - it's the same in 'real life' at Hay - a couple of wankers who keep arguing.... they forget that they do actually have a choice

what you've gotta remember is that when you're at Hay, it's only ever a couple of remarks at the presentation night, everyone is used to it and it ignore it - and it's still a great weekend - thankfully no-one makes 'the choice' and they still all come, it really is the more the merrier

I think you'll find the 'bickering' is a lot less serious than it once may have been. It's more of a tradition than any real objection.

I have been looking at some mini derivatives which are still mini enough for Hotbricks but would fall in the non mini categories at Hay. If I was driving though I wouldn't get anywhere near that 240Z or the Easts, they really are top steerers.

I think the main point of Hay is the actually going there. If you ask anyone why they go to Hay every year, they generally can't give a decent answer. They just do. It's just fun.

Well said. Bring on the 40th Hay next year.
