and any ideas what these are?

Secondly, I know that all of this stuff below is GT. BUT i have a:
2 - 6000 rpm redline tachos 0 these are english GT;s i believe?
1 - 6500 rpm redline tachos these are Aussie GTs obviously
1- 120 mph speedo which is aussie GT

Just wanting to confirm that the 6k tachos are out of English GTs
(cos i thought that maybe when Leyland changed the motors from
the Mk2 S blocks to the large journal 1100S internals (that are no good
for reving) they may have decrease the redline on these? it is the second
6k tacho i have gotten.... i would not have thought tehre would be that many
out here if they were english GT's.... (1275LS and S and 998 LS all have 5500rpm)

ALSO my gearnob is interesting.. apparently they were all meant
to be brown.. however, mine has the correct top and is black.. shed any
light on this anyone (it has def come off a Aussie GT)

Finally. anyone know anything about the 1964 south eastern Australia car rally badge
i found tuced away under the house???

I can help with one of those SUs ...
The RH one in the pic is part of a pair (yay you!!) that odd looking bit-thingy sticking out is for the linkage.. last one I saw was an "S" one ... could be ....

other than that those Webers could be from...

Cortina, Falcon, Alfa-Romero, Fiat, etc etc etc ....

VERY common units ..... i think....

Don't think you can put them on Minis as you can't get a suitable manifold. 28/36 fits on Minis, but not the 32/36. Shame coz I've got one myself :)

was part of a pair, but without the other one it's just a single, as it's the common side - same as fitted to all the small pre '74 motors :(

That's an Aussie GT gear knob. Not sure about the black colour though. These things are as rare as rocking horse you know what.

I know of someone currently restoring a Gambier GT who would be very interested in it 8) 8)

My GT has a gear knob nearly exactly the same. I believe thats genuine Aussie. Although, mine is a bit different with the edge bit being brown not black. I don't know how to post a pic here, but i'll email you a pic of my gear knob.
