could be a cheap start to a fun project for someone but I don't know about getting it engineered for the street ....

Would need the rear bulkhead re-installed to begin with.........

Street legal? Might be a bit of a long shot.

Racer that people will remember..... almost definately. Sports Sedan series perhaps?

Can't use it as a sports sedan because the roof is cut, sports sedan must retain original roof line and profile :D

How hard would it be to get glass that fits it?

O'Briens do custom and one off glass for street rods and modified cars, but no idea on the cost. I don't imagine it'd be cheap!!

If it's a similar shape just smaller than the original, any glazier should be able to cut it down for you I'd assume 8)

I think you'll find windscreens are toughened glass (ie heat treated) and this type of glass cannot be cut down. It would have to be a special.

Apparently laminated screens can be cut down to size but not toughened ones and also a front laminated screen can be cut down (just , the curvature is almost right) to make a chopped rear windscreen that's still glass rather than perspex . I haven't had first hand experience with this myself but have been told by people who have done them in the past .

That's why they are called "sewiside" doors!

Maybe his speling is indicating the fact that you'll need stitching back together after the door flies open and hits you while you're walking down the street .....

By the way , considerring it's missing the boot floor and rear bulkhead/seat back , why hasn't anyone else thought about a twini mini conversion ..... Maybe I'm the only warped one here with thoughts like that .....
