Well after worrying about the problem of having a siezed clutch for so long..we have finally un-siezed it! :D

First of all we had to get the old drums working - which took a lot longer than expected due to leaking pipes  (the breaks still arent 100%)

So we got the front two wheels raised off the ground and started the car in fourth gear then adding some brakes to the situation - after a few unsuccessful attempts we were quite dissapointed and were about to give it up for the day and decided to give it 'one last go'

After a few clunks and jolts..it worked,. so when the clutch was pushed down and in gear - the wheels were no longer moving! It had worked.

So the mini took its first steps today and drove up and down the driveway..many times  , its running great!

Im so pleased and relieved now to get it working :D
