Like the radio, when i purchased my LS from Stuwey it had the original radio too, but i think it is different...

Yeah bin the shock but the radio might be worth a fair bit. Quite rare I'd think, not sure. Don't know how much it's worth...Any ideas?

I'd use the front of the stereo to cover a modern sound system - keep the period look for shows etc (and security when parked), but nice tunes through a quality stereo. What are you going to listen to on the AM band anyway?

clean all the crap off them, give them a good wipe all over with oil and wrap them up air tight

I find chainsaw bar oil the best to put on things that are going to be stored long term (blocks especially) , it's very sticky stuff and fairly cheap , just brush it on to bare metal parts that you will either get machined or clean very very well before painting .
