Hey all

Just got me new 'S' shell last night, I'm 99% sure its an 'S' just need some confirmation that my car was stamped on a Monday - I think they may have been asleep still.

The plate chassis no starts with YKG2S2
The engine no on the plate starts with 9F/Sa/Y
And there is a difference of 505 between the body number on the radiator shroud and the chassis plate

The only thing is on the radiator shroud there is a M2 stamped but its missing the 06.... I think someone forgot to stamp it.... There isn't a 05 either in case any one asks

The only other thing is that the boot board brackets are riveted in, was this standard I thought they were supposed to be spot welded but can't remember.

From looking at the chassis number I think its a April 67 make.

Thought I'd include a pic of what I "recovered" out of the car too..... was kept under a tree. It's a bit of a fixeraber with rust in sills, scuttle, and bottom of rear quarter panels but at least it will keep me busy for a while..........

And since I'm uploading photo's I may as well put some pics of my current car on the mini gallery to share with all - I'm a bit slack with posting the pics.....

Was this a shell from a property on Kentish Road near Gawler by any chance?
