Hi, I'm Gwynneth, from Perth. I just gots me a '64 Morris Mini to fix up. It's running, but it needs a lot of work. It's my first project, and I'm not the most mechanically minded, but I really want to learn (I'm getting a lot of help from my Dad, he built two or three minis from scratch when he was younger) - so who knows how it's going to come out!

Hi Lewie here. Just purchased first mini after being a long time admirer. Actually got it off 666, seems one of his many. Most of you might know it as chalky, we enamed him Black Betty, but will be making some changes to him shortly. 1974, 1100. I am not that mechanically minded but have already picked up some good tips from the threads on the site. I am sure i will be posting some queries while fixing up BB and hope some of you guys can help.

Hi Lewie , sounds like it's gone to a good home then , what are your plans for it , despite giving it a good paint job  . It's a great starting point for a project though . Keep the questions coming .

Yep a paint is certianly in the plans - was thinking a dark blue with white racing stripes, and a white roof.

Just had a reoadworthy done on it and there isn't too much to do, new tyres few rubber bits need replacing, so pretty happy with it.

Yeah should be a good project to get to know the basics, good to hear that you are welcoming the questions. Will post some pics once i have done a bit.

Hello...

Well as the saying goes in the scene the names may change but the faces always remain the same.
