Hi All
having a problem with Putt Putt's door handle - drivers side outside handle just stopped opening the door.

Door is unlocked, handle moves up and down (as per normal) but door will not open...... if you reach in through the passenger side you can open the door from the inside.

I checked inside the door and everything looks hooked up as per normal, Has anyone had this problem before and how did they fix it?

Cheers Gerard
Any suggestions would be appreciated - I hazard to remove the mechanism such a pain in the bum with those little clips that love to fall down inside the door.

i had the same problem when puting on my new old door. the problem for me was that the plate that holds the little see/sor hook thing wasn't high enough to actually make an effect on the opening thingy, so wit the screw hole on the right i filled it out a bit more to the bottom so i could put it up hire, and with the other one i filled it justa slight bit to the left so i could move it slightly to the right.

this migth not be the problem with yours, you just got to poke around and find out. and see what needs ajjusting.

some -ones bound to say i did it all worng. :? fair enough though, i'm inexperienced, but it hasn't stopped working since  so i'm happy.
