Nope - not any longer - push bikes at Dubbo Zoo now - even tricycles to stick the bubs on the back.

Yes - Silverstone - yes and an angry old scotsman will sit beside you and yell at you all the way round the circuit.

But you will improve by over 10 seconds on your first lap.

A friend recently enquired about Moke-hire before visiting the island. He was told by some dope in a travel agent not to worry about it in advance.

Gets to the island...all Mokes hired-out. Gets off island and finds out there are two companies hiring Mokes on the island.

It might pay to do some research if anyone is thinking of doing this

Definitely long gone - they have electric golf carts now - which are usually all hired out about 38 seconds after opening time!!

Oh yes, I remeber Ryan's....

Hahahahaha. Much oil adrift in the boot when the firewood we stuffed in there took out the spare bottle of oil, then my brakes failed and I drove from Strahan to Queenstown with no brakes one evening. Oh and can't forget the road from great lakes to Bronte.....Hahahahahaaa....good times, good times.....

Not that I've heard of , any hints as to where ? There was someone renting a couple of Mokes around Byron but they've gone now ....

EDIT Thrifty at Coff's Harbour used to hire a base model Bini Cooper but that was about 4 years ago now , hired it when they first got it for a 3 day mini run , was fun but couldn't get too excited , ABS , traction control , where's the fun in that .....

Does anyone know of a place hiring BMC or Rover Mini's in the UK? Heading over there to go to the Goodwood Revival and need a hire car for touring around.

Has anyone hired one? I'm trying google but getting a million sites about BMW MINI's and Range Rovers!

The Classic Car Club does have 24 hour hire for $250 that I found on the net.
Went up last year and hired an early Porsche 911 for my girlfriend. They had sold the Cooper S and also an Austin Healey 100 that I was considering hiring.
