G'day all,

Could anyone please list/recommend a few reputable car transport companies that you have used in the past please?

Transport will be from around Sydney area to Central/North QLD - if any members have links to companies I'd be more than happy giving business to them!

Thanks in advance for your time.
Regards,
D

No problems with Toll, 6 moves so far with the Cooper, all with Toll (provided at company expense). Really check the car over on delivery, and hassle them constantly if there is any problems.

Tell them where to tie down the car when picking up, or they will try to lash it over the middle of the rear subframe - these guys aren't rocket scientists.

I got a quote of 680 from Darwin to Melbourne recently, but that wasn't with Toll.

Gee, is that all! I was thinking that it was going to be at least $1,500 to get it up here! That's awesome.
Mick, who was that company that gave you the quote?

Thanks for the help as well.

I got it through frontline transport, but you will find that it is a backload quote, not much freight comes OUT of Darwin...

The mileage the car needs to travel doesn't figure as much as the handling fees at both ends when it comes to quotes. But just remember if you quote too low, you will get exactly what you pay for.
