Saturday October 21st - there will be the judging of the Show-n-Shine, and then cars will be moved into the covered pavilion to park or do personal displays. There will be security provided by Panthers and we will have some of our own for the Saturday night. This day is not open to the public.

That was on the MCC NSW website, so does this mean If I fly over to sydney by myself, I can only come and look at the minis on the sunday? Does anybody need an extra person for there table on saturday night?

Whats the hotel at panthers called, I want to find out how much a room would cost....

Thanks Ian

Mate the rooms are

$125 for 1 sleeper
$142 for 2 sleeper
$197 for 3 sleeper

If you come on the saturday, strictly it is for show cars only, but i am sure that
you will be able to wander around and look at some of the cars being judged if you
are staying at panthers. How old are you? Maybe you should contact Erin to see
if you can stay with the young SA and Melb guys.

In terms of the Tables for dinner if people want to attend the dinner then
you will need to send us the form that i can send you if you want and payment
is required in advance.

Just a reminder to you all that the show and shine entry dates finish in october so get your entry in before then.

Cheers
chris

Well, i reckon im going to waste money and come to this. I can find cheap air tickets and have easy payment methods that i can use.

I havnt the internet fastness (shaped to 64k for the next week or so between 3 people  ) to read through all the threads to find out info.

But, where is the airport in Sydney and how far out is it and how much does it cost to get there and from?

And then were is Penrith and how much does it cost to get there?
And where is sleeping places and how far away from anywhere are they?
And where are the drankwinkels?

And is Gadgets coming?

Camel, glad to see you will make it up!! (but i can assure you that it is not a waste of money to come to MDU!!!)

Sydney airport is about 1.5 hours from Penrith, however there are plenty of people comming to the event from around that area, so try putting a post up asking people for a lift,

Accomodation can be had at Penrith Panthers, and is on the same premises as the Paviliion and carpark of MDU. Contact Adee who is organising rooms for the other melbourne folk to find out what is happeneing there as there have been some drop outs and i think there may be some availability.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to drop me a PM or call me!!

Cheers
Chris

BTW People not long now before Show and Shine entry forms are Due in!!

Is there an airport shuttle into Sydney to somewhere?
At this stage i should be in Sydney at 8:05am on Saturday morning ( i think its Sydney time) and the return home flight, i htink i will choose Monday at 4:55pm Sydney time. I just need to know if it will be easy to get to and from the airport in the times needed, cause if i miss the plane it will be buggered cause i wont be able to get back.
Actually i now think i will arrive on Friday, either 805am or 915pm. Just to be there for a bit longer.

If the rooms are 120 a head a night. I will sleep on a footpath instead.

I'll probably book tickets within 3 days i think, cause thats all the time i have to do it, and before i think about it too much and realise it was a silly idea, and then sort out how im going to get around the silly city Sydney.

If anyone wants to help more it would be very very helpful and greatly appreciated :)
