this one is a "CORGI". mini 30 1989.

they are all metal with plastic fittings.
i don't useually get good fortune so i will understand if they are just toys.
and if they are just toys i might take them out of their packaging.

These are reasonably common , the corgi is probably the most valuable of them , boxed it would sell for $30-40 , without box $15-20 . If you do take the others out of the boxes you'll be helping other people collecting them by reducing the number of mint and boxed examples of them . Stick them in a box in a cupboard and add to them from time to time when you find more , or make a little display with them if you have room , but be careful , you've seen the pics of my collection in the members gallery , they breed rapidly ......

Just leave em in their packaging, but keep em in a glass display cabinet. There will be less chance of the toys getting damaged that way.... and you will be challenged to fill that cabinet until the shelves can no longer be seen

The number plate is not very rare at all

Geez, I'd hate to put a price on all the mini memorabilia I have bought in the past few years. Books, toys, signs, DVDs, VHS, posters...... not to mention the "special parts" 8)

It is if you buy it on eBay Image.

I saw this exact number plate on eBay a while back with the seller goin on about limited edition extremely rare some number out of so many.. Cannot remember the exact number now  .

I just laughed and thought to myself.. Gee are people that stupid? As a week earlier saw them for sale in a cigarette store for like $20.00..

A lot of autoparts places still have them , though the one in Coff's that did has closed now .... Try markets as well as I've seen them there lately too . What colour are you looking for (green or black mini from memory) and I'll keep an eye out .

A good place to look is often in the local newsagent, or in the post office. Every now and again they have a tray of toy cars (pull-back ones) which are often Beetles or Minis.

A newsagent near me once had a tray of 7 different coloured minis, all with Monte Carlo roof racks and spotlights for about 7 bucks each.
