Got to run now.

Can't search.

Please advise as to where i can put car stands under the car so the brakes can be attended to.

Cheers 8)

On the rear, its under the rubber cones, in line with the wheel axle.
On the front it's pretty much the same.

If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will say so very quickly. :D

tips:

Make sure car is on very level ground. A flat concrete floor is best.

Use small pieces of wooden board to spread the load and prevent dents to the subframes.

Front brakes; handbrake on and chock back wheels,
Back brakes, Leave it in first, chock the front wheels.

Use proper axle stands, not piles of bricks etc.

Be careful, even camels can be squashed.

Well, it was a great fun thing to do. I must have broke something cause ive got no brakes. Im going to get someone to make them better right as soon as they can though.

I replaced the shoes and it took a long time to get them back on, and now i have no brakes 8) . But thats alright for now.

I would recommend good solid blocks of hardwood rather than "small pieces of wooden board" which could split and let the car fall.

[sorry if this sounds too analy retentive ]

No worries, is good to have that pointed out. I probably should have mentioned the 'small pieces of wooden board I use are 2" thick, 8" wide and 12" long hardwood planks......

Just a little too subtle in my original description?
