Back on topic, are you going to fix that dangerous fuel pipe going into the carby? (the banjo fitting)

Get a shorter fitting instead of the long pipe. A lot of them have a short right-angle fitting with a longer hose running to it.

Or clamp the pipe to something to stop it swinging.

They really are a horrible thing, I have seen a race car repeatedly undo the fitting just by turning on the fuel pump! When the pressure builds up the hose tries to straighten itself up and that was enough to undo the bolt.

Alright I'll get to the carby shop as soon as i can.
For some fuel line and a banjo fitting with a stubby pipe!

Yeah its getting there.
Just about the only thing that is letting it down is the paint.
Its factory paint, and the car is a 1989, so I guess its doing alright.
The patchy parts on the top of the bootlid is actually fade.
This is probably the worst of the paint.
If I were to get it resprayed - I'd change the flares to something a bit more tasteful (probably MK1 S) and also go green all over.
Ahhhhhhh thats jobs down the track.

But yeah, Weber and extractors are a very good mod.
I should have got around to doing it earlier!
